Corvette ZR1 at 345 km / h during a test in Germany

Presented as the most powerful Corvette ever, the ZR1 keeps its label. The American supercar has tested itself on the Automotive Testing Papenburg , in Germany. It is a test circuit, four hours north of the Nurburgring , on which the car manufacturers test the maximum speeds. The track is a circular ring and to measure the official maximum speed it must be traveled in both directions. In favor of wind and with contrary wind. The maximum speed is calculated from their average. The ZR1 arrived at 214.88 mph in one of the tests, or 345.8 km / h. On the other occasion it was "stopped" at 210.20 miles, or 338.2 km / h. 2019 Corvette ZR1 Spotted At The Nurburgring

The ZR1 , the most powerful Corvette ever, takes measurements on the Nurburgring circuit. The American supercar was filmed during some test tests on the German track. As you can see, the model in question looks like a prototype but it is very close to the production version. At the Nurburgring the ZR1 watches since its presentation at the Detroit Motor Show in January. The American car wants to become the third car to fall under the 7-minute track limit . The track record is held by the Porsche 911 GT2 RS in 6’47″3. A record won by the Lamborghini Huracan Performante who had stopped the clock in 6’52″01. In the viewfinder there is however the Dodge Viper ACR . Corvette ZR1 2019: from 0 to 60 mph in 2.85 seconds

The Corvette ZR1 proves to be strong even on the straight with its supercharged V8 755 hp, shooting from 0 to 96 km / h in just 2.85 seconds.  In the sports market the Chevrolet Corvette has always been an icon and the ZR1 variant represents the most powerful version of the american supercar. With 755 hp released from the s upercharged 6.2 V8 , in fact, she managed to get behind the fast Ford GT on the Virginia International Raceway. But that's not all, because Corvette Blogger has recently discovered its acceleration data thanks to statements from the model Product Manager, Harlan Charles . Well, the time on 0-60 mph (0-96 km / h) is around 2.85 seconds. Callaway Competition USA Reveal Corvette C7 GT3-R Racing Livery

Next Friday, March 9th, the 29th edition of the Pirelli World Challenge will kick off in St. Petersburg (Florida) .  The Callaway Competition USA team will also be taking part in the GT\GTA\GT Cup class.  The car with which the team will take the field is a Corvette C7 GT3-R , which will be entrusted to the German driver Daniel Keilwitz . Thursday, March 1 Callaway Competition presented to the world the official racing  livery with which the Corvette C7 GT3-R #26 will take part in the 10 races scheduled. Following is the time-lapse video that shows us the preparation of the car. Judging from the final result, a well executed job! We hope that this is a winner on the track and keep the Corvette name high!
