To beat a modern car do you need another modern car? Not even an idea: this 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is able to humiliate some of the most famous modern supercars . A breathtaking video shows the determination of what, apparently, is a car of another era. Obviously behind these performances there is the hand of a skilled work of elaboration. Under the bonnet we find a 6.2L LT1 , an extremely high-performance V8 . Even the exhausts have been replaced with a version designed for sports use. The video in question was recorded during the 2018 Pikes Peak Airstrip Attack. The Chevrolet was able to win every single race, and also with a fairly solid margin. If you are passionate about American cars , and maybe you'd get a Chevrolet Corvette C2 Stingray especially, this is the place.  Particularly it means that from the outside it is a historical in every respect, but it brings with it all the comforts given by modern technologies. To create this car is the company Ares Design , based in Italy, specifically in Modena . The most important change is the engine: in fact, under the hood of this car there is an LS3 engine , much more powerful than the original. In fact, it is the one mounted on the Corvette C6 , produced between 2005 and 2013. It is a 6.2 liter V8 , which is able to deliver a power of 518 horses.
