Corvette ZR1 at 345 km / h during a test in Germany

Presented as the most powerful Corvette ever, the ZR1 keeps its label. The American supercar has tested itself on the Automotive Testing Papenburg , in Germany. It is a test circuit, four hours north of the Nurburgring , on which the car manufacturers test the maximum speeds. The track is a circular ring and to measure the official maximum speed it must be traveled in both directions. In favor of wind and with contrary wind. The maximum speed is calculated from their average. The ZR1 arrived at 214.88 mph in one of the tests, or 345.8 km / h. On the other occasion it was "stopped" at 210.20 miles, or 338.2 km / h. Its 755 HP are unleashed from the mighty 6.2-liter V8 , supported by an Eaton volumetric compressor. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes less than three seconds and the maximum speed declared before these tests was 337 km / h.  On the German circuit, the ZR1 was in standard trim, with the normal rear wing and not that of the ZTK perf
